Who we are

Personalized Marketing is run by Personalized Marketing ("we", "us"). We're the controller of the information about our business customers described here, and a processor of the recipient lists our customers send us (see our data processing agreement). Questions or requests: hello@personalizedmarketing.co.uk.

People who receive our customers' post

If you've received a card, postcard or letter from one of our customers, that business decided to send it and is the controller of your details; we process them on its behalf, only to design, print, post and track the item. If the item has a QR code, scanning it opens a page about that item; what you do there (opening it, pressing a button, filling in a form) is shared with the business that sent it.

Don't want post like this? Visit personalizedmarketing.co.uk/optout — we'll stop every business that uses us from posting to that address.

For business recipients, designs may use public information from the business's own website (its logo, a photo of its premises and — only where the sender switches it on — owners and managers from its own team page). We never use social media for this.

Who we share it with

Only the services we need, under contract: Stripe (payments), Prodigi and Intelliprint (printing and posting, UK), Cloudflare (secure file storage), Google and Replicate (AI design and writing — no recipient addresses are sent), Hostinger (hosting and email), and, only if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta. Some providers are in the USA; transfers are protected by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK–US data bridge. We never sell personal information.

How long we keep it

  • Your account: while it's open. Close it any time by emailing us.
  • Receipts and orders: 6 years, for tax and accounting.
  • Recipient lists and tracking: up to 24 months after an item is sent, unless the business that sent it asks us to delete them sooner.
  • Opt-outs: kept for as long as we operate, so we can keep honouring them.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, ask us to move it to another service, and withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@personalizedmarketing.co.uk — we reply within one month. If we hold your details on behalf of a business that sent you post, we'll pass your request to them and help them answer it. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
